WINCOM Introduces Surgemail!

What is Surgemail?
WINCOM has selected to deploy Surgemail to replace the mail server system in use today. Surgemail is an advanced, secure, easy to manage and install, high performance email server. It supports any number of users or domains, virus scanning, spam filtering, integrated webmail access, integrated WAP support, and fast browser based administration tools as well as all relevant RFC protocols POP3, SMTP, IMAP4, LDAP, HTTP, TLS/SSL.

Why is this a good thing?
The new email server can handle more users, and provides more helpful functions. You can now control your own junk mail (spam) filtering, set vacation messages, and check your email all in one convenient place. All Wincom customers are being urged to move to the new server as soon as possible- moving is simple and you DON'T have to change your email address!

Moving to Surgemail
Moving your account onto the Surgemail system is quick and easy. Once you are sitting at your computer, and have a few minutes to spare, click here to read the instruction files (Note- it may take a few minutes for the images on this page to load if you are using dial-up access).

Surgemail User Self-Management Interface
After you have moved your account over to the new server, you will want to dig right in and manage your settings. Here you can logon to the Self-Management Interface to do just that. You will want to use your FULL email address and your password to logon. But, make sure you have moved your account over first (see above).

Web Email Client
If you are not already using an email client like Outlook, you can check your email easily from the Webmail system. This client to the Surgemail server allows you to check your email from anywhere that has Internet access- not just from your home computer! The Webmail system is secure and offers all the features you could ask for!
